- You’ll brand your practice, and yourself by submitting articles to your local media outlets. You should include your name, business name, your credentials, address, phone number and e-mail address in your resource box.
- You will become known as an expert on the topics you write about. This will give you and your business extra credibility which will help you compete against your competition.
- Your article might also be placed on the publisher’s main page, announced in their news program or they may call you and do an interview based on the article you submitted. If they publish or interview, this will give you some extra exposure.
- You might get extra exposure if the publisher or program director submits your article to a wire service. This will give you regional or national credibility.

- You will get your article published or broadcast all over the region when you submit it directly to a wire service such as AP or Reuters. They’ll distribute it to all media in your area.
- You’ll gain people’s trust. If they read or hear your article and like it, they won’t be as hesitant to buy your services. You will then be able to increase your fees and profits.
